Anna Silk is Canadian actress who has been best known in Canada for her role as Bo. Silk is a Canadian actress who was born in Fredericton New Brunswick. Ilkay Silk and Peter Silk have been the fathers of Silk. Ilkay is a playwright and director. She also teaches drama in St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. One of Anna's first memories were of going to the play school and watching her mom work. Silk made several commercials while she was still a kid. She graduated with a Bachelor's in Arts in 1997 from St. Thomas University in 1997. Her early theater experience includes at least two productions with Theatre St. Thomas: Seven Menus and The Kitchen. Silk made the move to Toronto to pursue her acting career in the month of November 1999. Later, she spent the following decade relocated to Los Angeles California. Seth Cooperman became her husband in 2007 when they met during an Actors' Workshop at the Actors' Workshop in Los Angeles. When she got engaged in 2008, the couple were married in the year 2009. Following her conversion to Judaism, they renewed their wedding vows at a Jewish ceremony on April 10, 2011. The ceremony was held in Fredericton. Silk was blessed with a son named Samuel Jerome Cooperman in May 2013. Her second son Levi Aaron was born on the 13th of May in 2016. Silk was also nominated 2009 for the Gemini Awards in her role as Cassidy Holland. The Canadian drama Lost Girl cast her as Bo Dennis, the lead character in the succubus. Silk made it known to her fans that she was pregnant in January 2013 at an episode of Showcase Season Three Special. Silk posted on Twitter on June 20, 2013 that the production was set to begin on Season 4. On 4 June 2013 Showcase and Prodigy Pictures confirmed the beginning of production for the Fourth season. Her portrayal of Bo along with Lauren (Zoie Palmer) as same-sex lovers on Lost Girl was named one of the most popular TV Couples in the year 2013 by CNN (Cable News Network) and named the Top TV Couple in the year 2013 by E! Entertainment Television. Silk is one of the most popular shows on social networks.
